The Supporter Award recognizes an individual either a woman or a man or a queer who has shown leadership and is contributing to gender equality in the organization or the technology industry and is a role model for others in promoting women in tech. The category is open for individuals with or without organizational affiliation who have led initiatives, advocated for women’s empowerment in ICT, and reached scalable and long-lasting impact.
An award candidate should meet the following criteria:
Is a resident of Georgia
Works in the field of ICT, innovations, non-profit, academic, or related industry development sectors in Georgia.
Is actively promoting gender equality and diversity in the technology industry independently or within an institution or an interesting community.
Achieves scale and long-lasting impact for equality and diversity in the ICT industry.
Nominations of individuals who meet the above criteria can be submitted by the individuals themselves or by another person.
The winner will be awarded by Majorel Georgia, with a stipend, which can be used for educational purposes. An educational program or course will be financed for the category winner.
