The Emerging Leader Award is granted to a woman or a queer aged 18 - 30, who is bringing change through technology or has outstanding achievements in tech. The category recognizes those with exceptional academic performances, professional aspirations, or community impact at an early stage. The goal of this category is to uplift the future generation of changemakers who will drive the tech industry and ensure inclusive growth.
An award candidate should meet the following criteria:
Identifies as a woman or a queer and is 18 - 30 years old.
Resides in Georgia or is a citizen of Georgia residing abroad.
Has at least 2 years of professional or educational experience in the field of ICT.
Has exceptional performance and significant achievements in the field of ICT, whether through academia, community work, or professional career, and through her progress is bringing impact for the broader community.
Nominations of individuals who meet the above criteria can be submitted by the individuals themselves or by another person.
The category winner will be supported by TBC with the program or service, which will be elaborated together with the winner, depending on their needs.
